1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Champord mobile application ("App"), the Champord website at champord.com ("Website"), and related services (together, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Champord ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting.

2. Description of Services

Champord provides AI-powered travel planning services, including:

• Personalized trip itinerary generation
• Accommodation and transportation recommendations
• Restaurant and activity suggestions
• Real-time trip assistance via AI chat
• Travel companion and pet management
• Leaderboard and social features

Our Services are designed to assist with travel planning but do not guarantee availability, pricing, or quality of third-party services mentioned in recommendations.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Payments, Subscriptions, and In-App Purchases

Certain features require payment. All purchases are processed by the platform you bought through — Apple App Store on iOS, Google Play on Android, and our payment provider Paddle for purchases made on the Website. Champord does not collect or store your payment card details.

By making a purchase, you agree that:

• All prices are shown in your local currency where supported by the store
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase
• One-time purchases (such as a trip or an extra day) are billed once at the time of purchase
• Trip generation fees are non-refundable once the itinerary has been created, except where required by applicable law

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions (Champord Plus)

Champord Plus is offered as an auto-renewable subscription in the following durations: monthly, 6-month, and yearly. The exact price for each duration is shown in the app before purchase and is charged in your local currency.

• Auto-renewal: Your subscription automatically renews at the same price and duration unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Renewal charge: Your Apple ID or Google account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Managing your subscription: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time. On iOS, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. On Android, open the Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — the current period itself is not refunded.
• Free trial: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that plan, where applicable.
• Price changes: If we change the price of a subscription, we will notify you and require your explicit consent before the new price takes effect, as required by the store.

Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple and Google respectively, in accordance with their refund policies. For App Store refund requests, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.

Web Purchases (champord.com)

Purchases made on the Website — including one-time trip purchases and the Champord Plus subscription — are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, acting as merchant of record. Paddle handles the checkout, payment collection, invoicing, and applicable taxes; Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to these purchases.

• Auto-renewal: A Champord Plus subscription purchased on the Website automatically renews at the price and duration shown at checkout unless you cancel before the end of the current period.
• Managing your subscription: You can cancel at any time from Account → Subscription on the Website or by contacting support@champord.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Withdrawal rights: Where you have a statutory right of withdrawal (for example the 14-day right for consumers in the EU/EEA and UK), it applies to web purchases. For digital content and services delivered immediately — such as trip itinerary generation — you consent at the time of purchase to immediate performance and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost once the itinerary has been generated, to the extent permitted by law.
• Refunds: Refund requests for web purchases are handled through Paddle or by contacting support@champord.com, in accordance with Paddle's refund policy and your statutory rights.

5. User Content and Conduct

You retain ownership of content you submit. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute such content for operating our Services.

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Champord and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. The Champord name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Champord.

7. Third-Party Services

Our Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party services (hotels, airlines, restaurants, etc.). We are not responsible for:

• The availability or accuracy of third-party content
• Transactions between you and third parties
• The privacy practices of third-party services

Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and such parties.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
• AI-generated recommendations will be accurate or suitable
• Third-party services will meet your expectations

Travel involves inherent risks. Always verify critical information independently before making travel decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHAMPORD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Champord, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and applicable member state laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
